Live Like Miss Piggy

The Muppets have staged yet another comeback. But really, this isn’t a comeback per se, since they have never ever left us. For generations, they have been a constant. This cuddly crew continue to reassure us with their zany antics and eclectic personalities, reminding us that everything is going to be okay, well, at least for the window of time we are graced with their presence.
The most reassuring Muppet has got to be the confident, unstoppable, and always lovable Miss Piggy. Sure, you could attempt to debate the topic, but you really? Nah. Especially since we all know Miss Piggy has a wee bit of a temper. Plus, you know she would certainly agree with that assessment. We don’t want to make her mad – now more than ever, we need that Miss Piggy brand of reassurance. Thankfully, we are all in luck.

Sure, we are losing that incredible statue of her that once held court outside the Muppet Theater at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, but we are gaining her presence in the upcoming Muppets Rock N Roller Coaster and in the brand spanking new Muppet Show reboot premiering on Disney+ on February 4th. So, yes, more Muppets and more importantly, more Miss Piggy for us all!
In anticipation of basking in the glory of all things Piggy, I started to ponder what it would feel like to live like Miss Piggy. What would her personal and intimate space look like? What would it feel like? As I envision it, Miss Piggy’s bedroom would be bold, feminine, a little frisky, and, of course, a wee bit outrageous. While she may be a pig, her abode would be far from being a sty.
Here are the items that could easily reside in a Miss Piggy-inspired bedroom – all in human-sized proportions- and available for purchase.

There is absolutely no question that Miss Piggy’s bedroom, nay, the whole house, would be sprinkled with portraits of the queen herself. Currently, Disney is offering this retro black-velvet-style tribute.
