Keith Haring Carousel
Luna Luna may be gone, but it is not forgotten. The 1987 surreal carnival – featuring attractions by artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dalí, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, and Keith Haring – had successful runs in both Los Angeles and New York City over the last couple of years. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even though Luna Luna isn’t open, their store sure is! So, while you can’t currently hop on the Keith Haring carousel, you can have a little version live in your house.
The brightly colored toy – blessed with Keith Harings’ signature style – was sold out but is now back in stock for those wanting to remember the whimsy.
